Temporary closure of the museum from January 8 to June 6, 2024
Continuous operation since 2001 and changes in the technical requirements for modern museum operations have made a fundamental refurbishment necessary.
During the closure period in the first half of 2024, mumok offers mumok visits, a comprehensive alternative program that invites people to tour places closely linked with our museum. We will visit artists in their studios, present works with them in public spaces, and introduce private collections, galleries, foundations, and locations where mumok has been active in the past.
