„Alarmingly alive“
Medardo Rosso – Exhibition Tour II
Medardo Rosso (Turin, 1858 – Milan, 1928) was one of the great pioneers of modern art and remains a vital reference point for many artists to this day. He created a radically anti-monumental and profoundly experimental body of work that explores the boundaries of media, materials, and presentation forms.
In a guided tour of the exhibition, curator Heike Eipeldauer, together with artist Aleksandra Domanovic and author Prof. Megan R. Luke, will discuss what makes Rosso's groundbreaking work so "alarmingly alive" (Phyllida Barlow) even today.
Thursday, January 23, 2025, 5.30 to 7 pm
Participation is free with a valid admission ticket or your annual pass.
Advance registration is required.
The tour will be held in German.
