„Alarmingly alive“
Medardo Rosso – Exhibition Tour III
Medardo Rosso (Turin, 1858 – Milan, 1928) was one of the great pioneers of modern art and remains a significant reference point for many artists to this day. He created a radically anti-monumental and profoundly experimental body of work that challenges the boundaries of media, materials, and presentation forms.
In a guided exhibition tour, curator Heike Eipeldauer, together with artist Nairy Baghramian and author Lisa Le Feuvre, will discuss what makes Rosso's groundbreaking work so "alarmingly alive" (Phyllida Barlow) even today.
Thursday, February 20, 2025, 5.30 to 7 pm
Participation is free with a valid admission ticket or your annual pass.
Advance registration is required.
The tour will be held in English.
