Art Speed Dates
Love Stories in the mumok Collections

Art Speed Dates

For the first time, mumok and the Laboratory for Cognitive Research in Art History at the University of Vienna are organising Art Speed Dates. In the exhibition Mapping the 60s, you have a unique opportunity to engage with both new people and artworks from the mumok collection in an unconventional way.

Art Speed Dates are designed for different age groups and sexual orientations and take place on seven selected evenings. The following always applies: for the regular admission price, you have the opportunity to meet up to ten unknown people and artworks in short intervals. After each encounter, you record your impressions in writing – this not only supports our research, but also sharpens your own perception.

Finally, we will head to the museum bar, where we round off the exciting evening with a drink together. Are you ready to find your art match?

Art Speed Dates is a cooperative event with the Laboratory for Cognitive Research in Art History at the University of Vienna. During this event, anonymized data will be collected for the research project Dating in Museums.

Cooperation partners: Carola Korhummel, Luise Reitstätter, Laboratory for Cognitive Research in Art History at the University of Vienna

As the appointments take place outside regular opening hours, registration is required.
