Barbara Kapusta

Barbara Kapusta

Barbara Kapusta is concerned with verbal and non-verbal language and questions communication between persons and things. She works with photography, video and writes poetry.

Magic.
Between the
The borders of our
Bodies lies
My text and my language.
My voice.
As a bridge.
My speaking (conversing).

Barbara Kapusta will be presenting works that are concerned with poetry, language, writing and speaking. Poetry here is understood as a stimulating practice, as communication, as fantasizing and hallucinating – speaking for and about something. “The poem is for ...“, write Danielle St. Amour and Evan Webber in their article about Barbara Kapusta’s work, A Poem for 22 Small Objects. Language, speaking and what is addressed are inevitably linked to each other.
